Matteo
Floris was born in Solarussa (OR, Italy) in 1977. In November
2003 he took the Diploma with Honors in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of
Padova, Italy. His thesis supervisor was Prof. Stefano Moro
(stefano.moro@unipd.it), and his thesis title was "Chemoinformatics
as a useful tool in medicinal chemistry: a web-oriented structural
database as an example". His main research interests
are: Chemoinformatics, molecular database design (by using
PHP, Mysql, and HTML), virtual screening, and rational drug
design.
