InterAction Meeting in Philadelphia (13-16 October 2009)
The InterAction meeting will be held on the picturesque campus of Bryn Mawr College (http://www.brynmawr.edu/) in the quiet suburban town of Bryn Mawr (Montgomery County) 9 miles west of Philadelphia. The academic atmosphere of this beautiful green campus with its Gothic buildings provides a relaxed environment for intellectual exchange, learning and getting to know your peers. Coffee breaks, lunches and evening meals and social events will all be held on the college campus.

We are pleased to host our community of practice meetings at a college that has taken a leading role in furthering women's and minority education, that granted the first PhD to a woman in the US, and that is dedicated in its mission to the pursuit of knowledge, sustainable community, and learning though research, conversation and collaboration.

Directions to Bryn Mawr can be found at http://www.brynmawr.edu/campus/directions.shtml A campus map can be viewed at http://www.brynmawr.edu/campus/map.shtml. As the meeting is being held during Autumn break, attendees with cars may use free parking available in the large parking area between buildings 38 and 40. The campus is a five-minute walk from the Bryn Mawr SEPTA train station. Travel by train from Philadelphia's International Airport to the 30th Street Station in downtown Philadelphia by taking the Airport Line (also known as the R-1) and change to the R-5 line (Paoli/Thorndale) to Bryn Mawr station (about 20 minutes time). For complete details on using the SEPTA commuter train, please visit http://www.brynmawr.edu/campus/directions.shtml and scroll down to the section "By Train".

The Registration & Information Desk for the meeting is located in the Thomas Great Hall, Thomas Library Bldg. On the campus map this is indicated as building number 20 and officially designated as the M. Carey Thomas Library.

Please note that registration fees include a lunch and dinner each day in addition to drinks and snacks for 2 breaks per day.
